Focus on Teaching

Our business focus is on providing the highest quality of competitively priced music instruction and to offer our students and parents the services and products to support this education.

Music Degreed Teachers 

MECA provides their customers with multiple levels and prices points of teachers. All our instructors strive to relate their teaching to each individual student’s learning needs.

All Ages and Levels of Experience 

Our current students range from 2 years old to many students in their 70’s and above. We take pride in teaching to the individual so music is rewarding for all students. Whether you’re just starting or looking to build on your current skills MECA has something for everyone.

Regular Recitals 

MECA hosts recitals at least twice a year. These provide students with performance experience and help to build their musical confidence.

Fun Over 50 Program 

The best part about learning any instrument, either in private lessons or group lessons, is that you are never too old to start.  MECA teaches students from as young as age two to as experienced as age 100.  Learning to play, regardless of age, has never been easier with our Fun Over 50 program. After all, why let the grandkids have all the fun? Relax, have fun, keep sharp and learn a new hobby all in a social environment. No experience necessary and no instrument required.

Private Lessons 

Private lessons are the most customized learning environment for any student.  With one half hour lesson each week, students will work, one on one, with their teacher to meet whatever musical goals they might have.  No matter if it’s becoming the next rock star, the next Mozart, or just to learn something new, private lessons are a great way to have your musical instruction customized to you as an individual.......  and with private lessons being offered 6 days a week, finding a time and day that works best for you is easy.

Group Lessons 

While private lessons typically start at age six, MECA offers group lessons for kids six and under. These group lessons help kids begin to learn music through color, shape, pictures and other fun and creative teaching methods. Older than six and still want to take lessons in a group setting? No problem. MECA also offers a variety of group lessons for beginning students over the age of six. Instruments for these lessons can include, but are not limited to, guitar, piano, and vocal. Group lessons can be a great way for the beginning student to get started and make new friends while learning a musical instrument.

Preschool Music Programs 

Students will be given a general understanding of music by singing, dancing, and rhythm exercises.  This is a fun and active class that is sure to help students see how fun and easy making music is.

Kids Play Piano 

Children ages 5 – 6 years old, can learn basic piano skills in a fun, age appropriate environment. Children spend time on and off the piano, learning the musical alphabet, fingering, and counting. The end result is a solid foundation to continue their music education in either private or group lessons.

Ronald H. Krubsack Scholarship Fund
