SOUTH ELGIN PRIVATE LESSON PROGRAM
MECA has over 25 instructors for individual lesson instruction. Instruments taught are Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Percussion, Mallet Percussion, Voice, Violin, Viola, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Low Brass, Folk Instruments, and more. Students take 30 minute lesson once per week. The rates are dependent on instructor experience and education level. The monthly rates are listed below.

High School Teachers Teachers are high school students who have played their instrument for a minimum of 5 years and are continuing to study privately themselves.High school teachers teach beginning level students only. |

Non – Degree Teachers Teachers are college student, or are accomplished musicians without an official music degree. Non-Degree Teachers teach beginning to late intermediate students. |

Degreed Teachers Teachers are degreed in music or music performance, or have taught all levels of students for a minimum of 5 years with great success.Degreed teachers teach beginning to advanced level students. |

Master Teachers Teachers have obtained or are currently working on their Master’s Degree in music or music performance. Masters teachers have the education and experience to teach all levels of students. |
