SUMMER GROUP LESSON 'CAMPS' 2010

Preschool Sessions

ABC MUSIC & ME NEW!

Created for the child enrolled in a childcare center or pre-K program, ABC Music & Me is a research-based language and early literacy program built around music.. ABC Music & Me helps 2-4 yr-olds develop pre-literacy and language skills through a child’s most-loved rituals: music and story time.

Ages 2-4 – 30 minutes

4 week class - $50 plus materials

SIGN & SING NEW!

In a Kindermusik Sign & Sing class, we give you the tools and knowledge through songs and play to communicate with each other using American Sign Language.

Ages 1-3 – 45 minutes

BEGINNING ROCK GUITAR CAMP

Learn essential chords, songs, picking and strumming techniques in just a couple months. Student must bring own instrument. MECA has beginning guitar packages available for purchase and rental.

Ages 6 & up – 45 minutes, once per week.

8 week class - $112 plus materials

STRUM & SING NEW!

Learn to coordinate easy guitar strumming and singing.

Students preferred to have some knowledge of guitar chords, but not necessary. Student must bring own instrument. MECA has beginning guitar packages available for purchase and rental.

‘VOX ROX’ – Vocal Performance Camp

Using fun and popular music, students will learn important vocal techniques such as breath control, pitch, articulation, posture, and stage presence.

Ages 7-12. 8 week class - $112 plus materials

ROCK BAND CAMP NEW!

Have you ever wanted to play in a band? We will place you in a group and teach you to play together. Bands will perform at end of session. All ages, all instruments, all levels. We will meet for one hour, 3 times per week, for 3 weeks. Cost:$165.00 plus materials for 3 week session. Must sign up by June 25, 2010

Session will be held July 12 – 30^th at the following times*:

Mondays                   11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm

Wednesdays              11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm

Thursdays                 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm
